A natural phenomenon which mesmerizes viewers once a year happens in Yosemite. The angle of light falling on this seasonal waterfall during sunset makes the falls turn golden and make it look like lava or molten gold flowing from the top of the cliff near El Capitan. This happens during second half of February usually between 15 and 25. To see this quite a few things have to be perfect; no clouds to the west, enough snow over El Capitan and the right temperature for the snow to melt and create this waterfall.
After trying for 4 years, i was able to capture it for the first time. This is my second attempt in capturing the waterfall in 2017. You can see the light moving as the sun sets.
